Dear TRIZ Colleagues and WTSP Members,

Toru Nakagawa (OGU, WTSP Project Leader)

[WTSP] Letter: World WTSP Catalogs; Modern Business TRIZ Tools

Hello, How are you, your family, and people in your country?

I have updated "TRIZ Home Page in Japan" today in English.

       https://www.osaka-gu.ac.jp/php/nakagawa/TRIZ/eTRIZ/

-----------------------------------------------

I have just finished a major revision/enhancement of the WTSP Catalogs of (C) Around-TRIZ Sites in the World.

   https://www.osaka-gu.ac.jp/php/nakagawa/TRIZ/eTRIZ/

I would like to report you on three articles since my last

update message to you (Apr. 17).

[1] Current State of the WTSP World TRIZ-related Sites Catalogs

The current state (on Jun. 15) is summarized in the Figure attached.

Catalogs of Around-TRIZ Sites (C) are built in a pretty good shape, after my intensive surveys.

Catalogs of TRIZ Sites(A), however, are in a state much to be done.

I made surveys of TRIZ sites in 52 individual countries.

In 40 (mostly minor) countries, 725 sites are detected and 146 of them are found at the level △ or higher.

In 12 other(including major) countries, 485 sites are detected but not yet closely surveyed.

We look forward to voluntary WTSP Team activities in UK, France, Italy, Germany, Korea, and Taiwan (among others).

[2] Paper in Japanese (Toru Nakagawa):

From the "Four-Box Scheme of Abstraction" in Science and Technology to the "Six-Box Scheme" for Creative

Problem Solving The Proceedings paper was presented at Japan Creativity Society (JCS) and posted in Japanese and in English in

my website in Feb. 2022. I extended it into a full paper in Japanese and submitted

to Journal of JCS. It is an overview of my work for these 25 years.

But the Journal rejected it, saying no category of accepting an overview paper.

So I have posted it in "TRIZ Home Page in Japan".

It will take long for me to make its English version.

[3] Paper: "Modern Tools for Business TRIZ" by Valeri Souchkov (ICG T&C, The Netherlands)WTSP Catalog 2022.102

This paper was presented at MATRIZ TRIZfest-2021, and has been posted in "TRIZ Home Page in Japan" both in

English and in Japanese translation (by Nakagawa) under the Author's permission.

This is an excellent overview paper on the extension of TRIZ to the field of Business and Management.

As the result of his (and others') research and practices, he has shown a full system of Modern

(Adapted and New) Tools of TRIZ applicable to understand and solve various problems in Business and Management.

He has recently organized the International Business TRIZ Association (IBTA) and installed the tool system

(most of which he developed in ICG T&C) as the course material of the IBTA training & certification.

Reading this overview, you are invited to read further about the methods (or tools) for Business TRIZ through

the References listed at the bottom.

We sincerely hope your collaboration even under your busy job schedule.

 Best wishes.

   Toru
