During TRIZCON 2007 several in the TRIZ community met under the leadership of Wes Perusek, Altshuller Institute Educational Advisor, with the general objective of setting a direction for integrating TRIZ in the educational system in the United States. Following the conference, Malkin and Halliburton began work on a product to deliver TRIZ principles in a simplified form for use with middle and high school students.  The initial result, the Guided Brainstorming Toolkit™ web-book, was presented to teachers and interested parties during a pre-conference workshop at TRIZCON 2008 in Kent, Ohio. The work has since gone through two iterations of implementation, field-testing, and revision. The Invention Road™ web-book now meets the initial objectives to provide a product that:
·       Introduces some of the basic concepts of TRIZ,
·       Makes a connection to an area of the school curriculum that emphasizes invention, innovation, and design,
·       Is easy for middle and high school teachers and students to use on-line, and
·       Can be applied and learned in a very brief amount of time.

The products and results of the field tests will be reported along with directions for future development.
